Infant Program (3–12 Months)

The first year of life is a time of remarkable growth. Our Infant Program offers your baby a gentle introduction to school through responsive care and thoughtfully designed opportunities to explore, discover, and grow. For many babies, this is their first experience in a school setting. We created an environment that feels like an extension of home: secure, loving, and deeply attentive, while honoring your baby’s individual rhythms, personality, interests, and developmental needs. Throughout the day, educators thoughtfully weave learning into familiar routines, sensory exploration, movement, floor play, and one-on-one interactions.

Departure & Family Communication

Please note: The above schedule represents a typical daily rhythm and may vary based on each infant’s age, developmental stage, feeding schedule, and sleep patterns. Families are kindly asked to provide formula or breast milk for their babies. With parental guidance and permission note, we provide supplementary organic food for babies after they turn 7 months of age if they become developmentally ready. Diaper checks and changes are completed approximately every 1.5-2 hours or whenever necessary to ensure each child's comfort and well-being.

Infant Care & Family Support

How Do You Support Nursing & Feeding Families?

The infant years are a remarkable period of growth and development, and we are honored to partner with families during this important stage. By working closely with each family, we create a connection between home and school while supporting every infant’s unique feeding, sleeping, and caregiving routines.

Feeding

For infants under 12 months, families provide breast milk, formula, bottles, and any preferred feeding supplies, along with information about their child’s feeding routine and preferences. Our educators carefully follow each infant’s individualized feeding schedule to ensure consistency, comfort, and continuity of care. For infants over 7 months of age we offer organic supplement meals with prior parents’ permission. Please see our administration staff for more information.

Nursing Support

For families who wish to nurse on-site, we offer a private feeding area with comfortable seating, a sink, and refrigerator space for breast milk storage. Breastfeeding parents are welcome to visit throughout the day to nurse or spend time with their child.

Sleep

Each infant follows an individualized sleep schedule based on their developmental needs and family routine rather than a fixed classroom schedule. Every child is provided with an individual crib, and all safe sleep practices are strictly followed. Infants are always placed on their backs in a crib with a firm mattress and are closely monitored by trained staff. Families receive updates regarding their child’s sleep throughout the day.

Health & Safety

The health and safety of every child is our highest priority. Our infant classrooms are thoughtfully designed with age-appropriate materials, sanitized regularly, and maintained according to rigorous health and safety standards. All staff members are trained in infant CPR, First Aid, emergency preparedness, and safe sleep practices.

Nurturing Environment

Our infant classrooms are thoughtfully designed with natural and organic materials, soft furnishings, calming colors, and developmentally appropriate experiences that foster exploration, secure attachments, and joyful early learning.
